Games kick-off tommorow

The Uganda Telecom Invitational Inter-University Games will kick off on Friday September 7 at 2:00pm at Kyambogo University.

Kyambogo University will host Makerere University Business School who are to engage in football, basketball and volleyball.

This will be the second year of the event, which will bring together participants from Makerere University, Kampala University, Kampala International University, Bugema University, Mukono Christian University and Ndejje University besides Kyambogo and MUBS.

These universities will be competing for a top prize worth 20 million Uganda shillings.The games are being played under federation rules and managed by Total Events Solutions.

Meanwhile, Uganda Telecom has offered Uganda shillings 500,000 worth of sports
equipment to each participating university so as to enhance the continuity of sports in their institutions.
